From the far-away land of Melbourne Australia comes this radio ad for the Saul Tigh campaign. Seriously, even those outside of our little enclave called the USA want Tigh for high office.

Bruce Hill produces the Shire Network News and shows his enthusiasm and endorsement of the ticket. "I'm supporting the Tigh/Roslin ticket because we need less Tom Zarek-style 'community organising', and more airlocking of Cylons," said Bruce. |

The Tigh campaign is calling on Senator Obama to apologize after he compared Laura Roslin to "lipstick on a Cylon."
"Laura Roslin says she’s about change too, and so I guess her whole angle is ‘Watch out Quorum of 12 -- except for economic policy, health-care policy, food policy, Cylon policy, waste recycling policy and Gaius Baltar style politics -- we’re really going to shake things up in the fleet,'" Obama said today at a town hall meeting on the luxury yacht, Rising Star.
He then added, "That's not change. That's just calling the same thing something different. But you know, you can ... put lipstick on a Cylon; it's still a Cylon."
Former Quorum representative Cheryl Badth, Chair of the newly found Roslin Truth Squad, argued on a conference call sponsored by the campaign that Obama clearly directed the comment toward Roslin. "It is clear to me, as I am sure it will be to fair minded citizens, Military and Independents across the fleet that Sen. Obama owes Laura Roslin an apology," Badth said. A Roslin spokeswoman later added, “Obama’s comments today are offensive and disgraceful. He owes Laura Roslin an apology.”

Saul Tigh visited Walter Reed Junior High School last week on a dual Campaign and Recruiting trip. While opponent John McCain used an image of the middle school during his Republican acceptance speech (apparently in error), Colonel Tigh took the time to actually visit the school and talk to the students.
